ORI has recently carried out maintenance activities on a HIPPS system in a Southern Italy refinery. The system has been in operation for 6 years and has been checked in every component and tested according to OEM instructions. This HIPPS system is protecting the nitrogen lines between two parts of the refinery and it is vital for the refinery operation. After testing it will be inserted in a 6-years maintenance scheme.
